Additional information from the event team

Planners Peter and Jillyan have provided the following information:

Manor Avenue, in Sale, is particularly long and straight. It runs North to South and splits the competition area in two. To the west is the complex Racecourse Estate in which it is not particularly easy to navigate even during the daytime. To the east is a much larger area of straightforward leafy suburb but where the points of interest tend to be far apart.

The choice is yours: either slow canter the Chepstow, Goodwood, Haydock and Epsom Avenues or gallop Cherry Lane, Chestnut Drive, Cedar Road and Pine Grove. Or try a combination of both!

The Samuel Brooks ( https://www.samuelbrookssale.co.uk ) is situated halfway down Manor Avenue at number 323 next to Tesco's. The post code is M33 4WD. It doesn’t have a large car park but there is plenty of roadside parking nearby. The staff are very welcoming and there is a decent menu with decent beer. Just order at the bar.

And don't forget ...
