Event Report

Please check your results carefully for spelling/club/year of birth/correct timing and score, and let us know asap of any errors. If your score is not what you were expecting, and you don't feature in the wrong-answers list, one of us has made a mistake.

Don't forget that if you can't make a particular event, you can get the map and questions from Grahame , and run by yourself before or after the day, and have your score included.

Additional information from the event team

Mapper / Planner Chris Rostron has provided the following information - please take particular notice of the food arrangements at the Hinds Head.

Travel and Parking

The South Reddish event venue is the Hinds Head Pub, Manchester Road, Stockport SK4 2RB. Use Junction 27 M60 (Tesco’s) from the West and Junction 26 from the East.
The pub has a large Car Park at the rear. If full please park sensibly in the streets near by obeying the yellow lines.

Food

There is a Full menu at the pub. BUT the kitchen closes at 8:30 so please pre order BEFORE you run. Slips will be available at Registration.

Please let us know if you will be eating and if possible likely menu choice. Menu link http://www.hindshead.co.uk/assets/hhmenudec.pdf

To accommodate those wishing to eat after 8:30. They can provide a Hotpot with crusty bread and red cabbage for £8.25 but it only comes in batches of 15.

To reserve a portion on a first come first served basis you MUST tell us before Friday 21st and we will manage the batches.

For those wanting the Hotpot deal before 8.30 we will put you on a reserve list in order to help manage the batch issue.

Copy Chris () on the food requests so Grahame only needs to manage the map orders.

Terrain

There are several busy roads dissecting the area and a railway line which is obviously Out of Bounds. There are two main complex areas one to the North East and the other in the South. In the South there is a roundabout that for safety reasons should only be crossed using the underpasses, if your route choice takes you there.

Reserving food and a map

To reserve your food for this event, please email Chris at  with your likely menu choice by 5pm on Sunday 23rd February

and to reserve your map(s), please email Grahame at   indicating the number required by the same deadline - 5pm on Sunday 23rd February.

If you are a "first-timer", please provide details of your club, and year of birth, along with your name.

And don't forget ...

All competitors MUST wear a high-visibility top.

There are no exceptions to this, and no excuse for not wearing one, as we can lend you one if you have forgotten yours.
