Organiser/Planner Comments

Many thanks to all who turned up, runners and helpers alike. Without you all these races just wouldn't take place. If you're not a club member but would like to get more involved and learn some new skills (course planning/race organising/coaching) just get in touch with us. We have a great coaching day organised for anyone who wants to improve their technique, 18th April in the Lake District.

Todays courses were intended to avoid the worst of the slippery bits but it was obvious who had done the orange/prologue course from the muddy bums. Most courses needed careful attention to the control descriptions to get to the control quickly first time, I know several experienced orienteers who lost time due to thinking they knew where they were going when they didn't ...

Well done to the winner of the prologue/chase - a decisive win especially if you have never been here before, but you were a touch younger than most of those chasing you.
