Event Report

Please check your results carefully for spelling/club/year of birth/correct timing and score, and let us know asap of any errors. If your score is not what you were expecting, and you don't feature in the wrong-answers list, one of us has made a mistake.

A table showing the new handicap factors for 2018-19 can be found on the Night Street League Series 2018-19 page.

Don't forget that if you can't make a particular event, you can get the map and questions from Grahame , and run by yourself before or after the day, and have your score included.

Additional information from the organiser

Event team Rebecca and John have supplied the following information ...

The Romiley event offers Street Leaguers a number of very special just-this-once Christmas Bonuses.

First, there's a new record number of 65 controls !!!  And some of these will be worth a special Christmas Bonus value of 90 points !!!  (there's a downside - penalties are 1 point per second).  And if that isn't enough, for the intrepid adventurers amongst you, the map now includes the tourist hotspot of Chadkirk Chapel, canal towpaths, and a footpath along the inner edge of a Cemetery.

Food

Menu is here. The Carvery may be the best option, and is easiest for them. They are going to ask the kitchen staff to stay on so food can happen up to 9pm (they'll let me know if that is a problem). Best if everybody orders at the bar before their run, especially if not having the carvery.

Parking

Shouldn't be a problem. There's a decent size car park behind and alongside the pub; there's an area for parking in front of the pub; there's parking on the main road outside the pub and some way down the hill; there's parking on the side street that takes you behind the pub.

Reserving a map

As usual, we need to know the approximate numbers of runners so that we can ensure that we have enough maps for all.

So, to reserve your map for this event, please email Ian (who is standing in for Grahame at this event) at , indicating the number required, by 5pm on Sunday 9th December.

If you are a "first-timer", please provide details of your club, and year of birth, along with your name.
