Organiser's Comments - Dave Grindrod

A big thank you to Andrew and Margaret Gregory for guiding me through my first event as organiser. Thanks also to all those that helped out with planning arrangements, management activities on the day and to those that participated in the event.

We had a gloriously clear and crisp winter morning which brought out many other park users from dog walkers to cyclists. We had a lot of enquiries about orienteering with some deciding to stay on in the park and take part in the event as they thought we were having so much fun.

All of the courses were well subscribed and the head to head at the end proved to be a very competitive affair amongst some of our long standing members. All in all a very enjoyable day.
