I'd like to thank

• All 62 competitors who attended the event -a jolly good turnout!

I see that every control was visited in the course of the competition, even those placed only to tempt the fastest runners. Happily, we marked only 20 responses as incorrect, out of 1018 total responses. This included some where we believed the runner had been (near) to the control, taking the view that recording accurately is part of the challenge. I'll accept appeals to , but to head them off, most runners and controls had zero errors; those with more than one were :

• #11 (5/36 wrong). 10 metres south of Cedar Lodge Farm gate is a prominent TP with GPO 26L carved at 4' height (followed by 69). Other numbers recorded were on different TPs that didn't match that description.
• #16 (4/42 wrong). On the rusty gate, there 4 diagonal bars, in two crosses.
• #27 (3/11 wrong). There's a human on each side of the fingerpost. It may be one human seen from two sides, but this has been a common clue in recent countyside scores.
• #10 (3/32 wrong) On the path bend (&fingerpost), 15 metres from the lake, there a style with a wooden sign, which has an arrow and NO ENTRY written above it.

Routegadget Instructions

Because SI boxes weren't used, the steps to add your route is slightly different to normal.

1. Go to http://www.mdoc.routegadget.co.uk/cgi-bin/reitti.cgi
2. Select the Lindow Event
3. Tick 'Draw your route' near the top right corner
4. Select your course (Score)
5. Enter your name
6. A textbox to the left of your name will appear. Enter your time in this box. For example if you took 92 mins 15 secs, type in 9215
7. Optionally, add your comment
8. On the map draw your route, finishing at the finish control. The position of the finish control could not be placed at the same location as the start control.
