Type of event: Local, Score
Info updated: 19th May
Pre Event Info
Venue: New Mills Golf Club, Shaw Marsh, New Mills, SK22 4QE
We used the golf club in 2019 and they were very welcoming. They are glad to see us back for 2022 so please support them if possible and stop for a drink afterwards or even some food. Order food at the bar before you run. The kitchen closes 20.00 with flexibility to be a bit later.
Please note: There seems to currently be a problem with Google and some SatNavs in that the postcode SK22 4QE does not take you to New Mills! If this is the case, use SK22 4QD instead which is around 100m south of the Golf Club.

Pre-entry required using http://mdocentry.org.uk to guarantee a map. Bring a pen/pencil and a watch. SI used for timing only. Choose your course length (60 or 90) on the night itself, not when entering.
Each control on the map will be marked by a numbered circle. On the clue sheet there will be a clue asking a question about an object at the centre of the circle. The answer should be written on the clue sheet next to the question. We try to keep the clues as unambiguous as possible. A typical clue will be:
