Event Report
Many thanks to all who came along to the first of this years fun score events.
First off all, my apologies for the path closures which prevented easy access between the village and the Bollin Valley itself, a shame because the valley offered nice running, despite being a bit on the hilly side for a river walk. The National Trust have been trying to control a fungus in the valley and despite recent checking, started on another patch of woodland since the check. As a result I have been lenient on the answers given for #9 and accepted Kingfisher or Chapel as the bridge names.
Pictures are of some of the checkpoints that attracted wrong answers. They are shows #1, the war memorial, and #10, "take care walking on the ----"
#11 which asked when Samuel Greg was inspired, it was 1784 and #21 which asked for the name of the Minister.
If there are any queries, let me know and I'll do further checking

Parking is easy but please can we try to avoid clogging up the pub car park. There is on street parking very close and a public and free car park about 100m away. If you need to get changed after the run please avoid doing this in the pub, unless you use the toilets, the public car park would seem ideal for this.
If you are planning to run please email Dave McCann on to reserve a map.
