Event Report
Rowarth was a bit different to Peover, compare the neatly manicured turf of Polo fields and exotic (fibreglass) animals to rough, overgrown paths with real live sheep and cows.
Surprisingly not many got caught out by the hills and nobody picked up massive penalties.
I have been lenient on 3 answers this time;
#21 The answer 4 or 4C was accepted
#28 75, or 3 or combinations of these were accepted.
#15 12 or 13 was accepted as the number of trees in the clump. 12 live of various sizes and 1 dead.
I'd like to confirm that Charles Heathcote (clue 15) did not die under the footpath sign, the sign is commemorating his life....I think.
Have a go at plotting your route on Routegadget, (via link). It shows where you and others went. Pretty easy to use.
Thanks to all who came along and see you at the next one in Hawk Green near Marple. Weds 6th July. Planning is well underway for this already.
