Terrain Description
Alderley Edge as the name implies is a long promontory above the Cheshire plain.. Whilst there are many crags and steep slopes along the northern Edge the top is much flatter and has many paths. The minor ones are very indistinct in the winter. The ponds across the road where the Blue and Green courses go are currently full and should not be crossed. Clearly the marshes will be wet and boggy. There are a lot of unmarked fallen trees due to the severe winter but are unlikely to affect route choices.
Facilities
Registration is in a small covered area or tent in the Car Park.
Toilet facilities will be closed circa 5pm.
