Club award winners 2024
In addition to the Champions League winners, and annual Chair’s Award (the Pete Conway Trophy), six new awards were created this year to highlight achievements in a variety of club activities in the past year. The winners were announced at the MDOC Social on 18th January 2025.
Outstanding Achievement 2024 – Ben Kyd
Nominations for the Outstanding Achievement of the Year award were unanimous in choosing Ben Kyd for his fantastic success in the field of Trail Orienteering.
In addition to making a clean sweep of the British domestic titles in the Open Elite category, becoming overall British TrailO Champion, JK Champion and British TrailO League Champion, Ben was on the podium in all three of his 2024 TempO World Ranking Events, and top GBR competitor (18th) in the European Cup (ECTO), 2nd in Slovakia, 2nd in Sweden and 3rd in Poland. In online "Virtual" TempO, Ben was Winner of the year-long Hungarian Torus series (with MDOC winning the club award), with further success in the Torus Advent series.

Junior – Teddy Hall
Notable improvement after joining NW Junior Squad.
Team of the Year – Michele Dawson, Rebecca Glen and Dominic Wathey
