Organiser's Comments

Thanks everyone for turning out so cheerfully despite the traffic and drizzle. The pub were very happy with us, and I thought the food and beer was excellent. Thanks also to Grahame for checking everything. I hope everyone enjoyed the diversion of the unusual scoring scheme. I was delighted to see that every control was visited, and Routegadget already shows an interesting variety of strategies.

I went round and checked everything 8 days before the event, but stuff happens - some of Marple's finest Parking Meters acquired notices which obscured their unique numbers and PO Box SK6 51, which had been a bit vandalised, but legible as 51, had acquired a new front with 51D on it.

There weren't many wrong answers, and I've been out and had a rummage round all of them. The following have not been credited:
Right answer, wrong box … 136 Dave Riley - (probably should have been 208).
TP on wrong corner … 106 Graham Stanton.
Wrong 1-ft stone (South of circle) … 207 Pete Owens.
Inexplicably wrong … 100 Andy Howie, 101 Thomas Skelton, 130 Mike Smithard, 131 Bob Verity, 204 Dan Riley, 302 Lee Scott.
