First Aid Course - Saturday 26th September
Eight MDOC members attended a 1 day basic emergency first aid course given by Stuart McNeil at the Lee Wood Hotel in Buxton on Saturday 26th September.
Members paired up to practise the skills learnt by acting out various scenarios, a number of which were conducted outdoors – see photos.
Many thanks to Stuart for giving the course and to the MDOC members who attended: Sue Birkinshaw, Rebecca Brimage, Julie Brook, Alison Doyle, Pete Lomas, Rae Lomas, Dave McCann and Vicky Thornton.
We are required to have a qualified first-aider at all our events, so we need to maintain a large pool of qualified people to ensure no-one gets called on too often.
