MapRun Spring Series 3 at Bollington available from 1st May

The third of MDOC's Spring MapRun series will be available from Saturday 1st May.

Planned by Dave Mawdsley, the three scatter score courses will offer plenty of opportunity to test your legs and navigation skills in and around this picturesque and hilly village near Macclesfield. In addition to steep streets and scenic footpaths, runners may choose to run past Bollington's most famous high landmark, White Nancy, or cross the valley using the old Macclesfield-Marple railway line, now the Middlewood Way.

29th Apr 21

Those choosing to run the long course will need to visit 30 out of 32 controls, for the medium course, visit 20 and the short, 10. There is no time penalty.

Courses start at the Middlewood Way car park on Adlington Road, SK10 5JT (what3words: skillet.blanket.helping).

The Final Details are available now at Navvies.org.uk/Spring2021.php and the courses will be available there from Friday evening, ready for those wanting to run the courses on Saturday.

The Bollington challenge will close on Sunday 30th May.

Don't forget you have until the end of this Sunday (2nd May) to try one of the scatter score events at Hadfield before it closes.

The two score options at Sale East also remain open for another two weeks until May 16th.
