Night Street League 2013-14 Prizewinners
This year we decided to hold an additional prize-giving event to round off the MDOC 2013-14 NSL series. The event took place on Thursday at The Moorfield in Sale (the same venue as was used for NSL event 5 in January) and was planned and organised by the same team - Peter Ross and Jillyan Dobby - who were involved with NSL5.
All those who took part were competing for a new cup - The Hydrant Trophy - which was to be presented to the winner on the night. The way in which the competition had been set up ensured that everyone who took part had a chance of winning the trophy on the night.
In addition to this, Grahame presented the Running Bear-sponsored Owl trophies to the winners of the Men's and Women's Handicap competition in the NSL, together with a number of small additional prizes for those who had done well in the overall league tables.
