Schools Championship success for Fallibroome

As a team, Fallibroome Academy achieved 3rd place at the British Schools Orienteering Championships 2024, held at Shorne Woods Country Park in Kent on 17th November.

Competing against 22 other schools in the large secondary category, Fallibroome were closely behind Perse Upper School (1st) and Bradford Grammar (2nd), with a wide points gap ahead of the next placed school. Competing in the team were: Lara Dorsett, Kirsty Beynon, Sarah Tookey, Jo Tookey, Tanvi Kutty, Catriona Beynon, Edie Cope, Megan Beynon and Ben Siriwardena.

The British Schools Orienteering Association (BSOA) organise two national championships every year. In 2025 the British Schools Orienteering Championship will be held on 16th November near Edinburgh, Scotland, and the British Schools Score Orienteering Championships will be held on 11th October at Port Talbot in South Wales.
