The event - Saturday 12th March
You have 1 hour to visit as many control sites as possible, with additional mini-challenges at some sites. These are tests of mental or physical dexterity and will earn extra points. You will lose points if you take longer than 1 hour.
You must be aged 16 or over to enter this event.
There will also be special very easy courses for under-16s and families.
Travel and parking
Entrance to Lyme is on the A6, just west of Disley Village. Follow the drive 1 mile to the main car park.

Entry
Pre-entry via Fabian4 at www.fabian4.co.uk (on the multi-sport section of the event list).
There will also be some entry available on the day (at a £1 surcharge), but pre-entry will guarantee a place. Fabian4 entries close at midnight on Thursday March 10th.

Registration and Start for the Challenge event
Adjacent to the car park. 10:00 to 10:45, with an event briefing for all competitors at 11:00
Mass start at 11:15
Entry fee: £10 for adults, £5 for under 21s. Competing as a pair is allowed, but pairs will not be eligible for prizes.
MDOC members will be at Registration to help and to explain everything.
Registration and Start for easy courses
In a separate tent adjacent to the car park, between 10:00 and 11:00 with help available.
Start individually at minute intervals between 10:30 and 11:30.
Entry fee is £3 for individual juniors and £5 for families, pairs and individual adults.
SportIdent electronic timing and punching
Every competitor will use an SI electronic timing chip. These will be lent free to those who do not have their own But if you lose it you will have to pay £30.
Presentation
There will be a short presentation of prizes at about 12:30, including some spot prizes.

Facilities available at Lyme
Toilets and a cafe in the Timber Yard, less than a 5 minute walk from the car park.
First Aid available at Registration.
Safety
All participants take part at their own risk. Walls and fences must NOT be crossed except at marked crossing points. Take care in areas where there is livestock, and watch out for rabbit holes, low branches and other such hazards. Please wear clothes and shoes suitable for the weather on the day. Shorts are not allowed.
