A day spent planting posts for the new POC at Lyme

A few of us spent Thursday "planting" the 40 new posts for the new Permanent Orienteering Course at Lyme, greatly helped by the Lyme Rangers and Volunteers, in preparation for the Opening Event on Saturday 24th October.

16th Oct 15

The new POC was a GMOA initiative, master-minded by John Britton, Pete Lomas and Sue Birkinshaw. Ian Gilliver planned the courses (controlled by Chris Rostron) and organised the post planting day.

Also helping them with the post planting were Hanno Rostron and Julie Brook.
