Happy 90th Birthday, Jim!
Jim Nightingale is 90 today Friday 8th November. Jim has looked after our Stores and Equipment for more years than we can remember, as well as maintaining GMOA's permanent orienteering courses, and was made an Honorary Life Member of the club in year 2000.
On behalf of all members we wish him a very happy 90th birthday.
Alex selected for Talent Development Squad
Congratulations to Alex McCann (M18) who has been selected to join the Talent Development Squad, which is the entry point for athletes on to British Orienteering's Talent and Performance Pathway.

Clubmark accreditation approved by Clubmark External Verification
MDOC's Clubmark accreditation was re-awarded for another four years this summer. In addition to this, the club's submission was selected to be externally reviewed as part of the Clubmark External Verification process.
Running Bear MDOC Night Street League Handicap Trophies: awards 2012-13
Tony Hulme of Running Bear has sponsored two owl trophies for the MDOC Night Street League series. The trophies are for the best male and female runners based on their Handicap scores.
