MDOC has a new Level 2 Coach
Congratulations to Pete Hayes who has now completed the Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Orienteering award.

Three MDOC members in GB Team for WTOC22
The British TrailO team for the World TrailO Championships (WTOC) taking place in Poland, 19 - 23 July will include three MDOC members - John Kewley has been selected for the Open PreO and the Open TempO, together with juniors Ben Kyd and Dominic Wathey.
TrailO News - Great results for JK in Lithuania
Along with several other members of the British TrailO team, John Kewley (JK) recently travelled to Lithuania to take part in the Falco Cup.
This long weekend event comprised two PreO (traditional TrailO), a TempO (speed TrailO) and a Sprint PreO (A-Z course) with PreO2 and TempO being World Ranking Events. JK was 5th, 3rd, 4th and 6th in the events respectively and won a Bronze for combined PreO and a trophy for 3rd overall on the weekend, ahead of his GBR team-mate Charles Bromley Gardner in 4th ...

JK 2022 Medal Winners
Congratulations to all club members who were medal winners at this year's JK Festival in South Wales. At the Sprint in Swansea, Liam Corner won the Bronze medal in M50 while MDOC had 4 in the top 6 in the Sprint Pre-O - Ben Kyd was 2nd (and 1st Junior), River Edis-Smith 3rd, John Kewley 5th and Sam Drinkwater 6th - a remarkable achievement.
