MapRun Summer Series 4 at Dovestone Reservoir available from 12th Sep

Dove Stone comprises three reservoirs situated in a steep ruggedly beautiful and popular valley just to the east of Greenfield. This time we offer three scatter courses on a traditional map on traditional moorland terrain.

Covid-safe Trial - Wythenshawe Park - Results

Wed 2nd Sep 2020

The Covid-safe event held at Wythenshawe Park on Wednesday evening provided some entertaining courses, two of which ventured outside the Park courtesy of a hybrid map that combined an updated Park map with the Night Street League map of the adjoining urban area.

MapRunF map extract, Source:

MapRun Summer Series 3 in Wythenshawe Park available from 29th August

The next of our Summer MapRun Series offers plenty of fun for orienteers and runners, both junior and more seasoned.  The map is a hybrid, which for some courses includes both Park and Urban terrain.  The Park is covered by a standard orienteering map and the urban area by a Night Street League style map. For those of you who have done one but not the other, now is the time to do them both on the same run.
